Travellers Insurance deployed an AI-powered Claim Assistant built with OpenAI nationally, automating claims intake and 24/7 customer support at scale — a concrete insurance-sector deployment reducing demand for human processors during peak periods.
If you write code professionally, the Anthropic 80% figure is the benchmark to measure yourself against, not a competitor's output but your own team's. Engineers who can review, direct, and quality-assure AI-generated code are more defensible than those producing it manually. Audit which portion of your current output could already be delegated to Claude or Codex.
If you work in administrative coordination or customer service, Microsoft Scout and Meta's WhatsApp agent are now in production, not pilot. The roles most exposed are those whose task lists map directly onto what these tools advertise: scheduling, expense management, claims intake, routine customer queries. Identify which of your responsibilities sit outside that list — and concentrate there.
If your expertise is cloud infrastructure, the NVIDIA–Microsoft unified stack and the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box represent a structural shift toward distributed and local AI execution. Specialisations built entirely on cloud-side configuration are narrowing. Skills in on-device model deployment and agentic governance are where enterprise demand is visibly moving.
