But salary growth for the role is below median. Use it like a coaching aid, not a replacement. The AI flags a pattern; you decide what it means and what to do with it in the 1:1. The 1:1 is where the trust is. AI can't have the 1:1 for you.

The martech sprawl problem

Every vendor in your stack now has 'AI' on the homepage. Adobe, Salesforce, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Iterable, Mutiny, Optimizely — each promising integrated AI workflows. Most of it overlaps. The job shifted: from 'configure this tool' to 'decide which AI capability lives in which platform.' Get this wrong and you're paying three vendors for the same automation.
